Undergraduate Curriculum (BDS – Second Year)

  • Tissue Pathology: Study of tissue changes in disease.

  • Immunology: Fundamentals of immune mechanisms and disorders.

Practical Training

  • Laboratory Skills: Hands-on sessions in urine analysis, hematology investigations, and interpretation of laboratory reports.

Innovative Teaching Methods

  • MILA Pattern of Teaching:

    • Classes are divided into three batches, each guided by a dedicated faculty member.

    • Each session includes a 30-minute interactive lecture, a 1-hour hands-on activity, and a 30-minute assessment, ensuring active learning and immediate feedback.

  • Flipped Classrooms:

    • Students review lecture materials and videos before class, allowing in-class time for problem-solving, discussions, and application-based learning.

  • Mind Mapping:

    • Visual mind maps are used to simplify complex concepts, aiding memory retention and conceptual clarity.

  • Game-Based Learning:

Student Support & NEET Preparation

Recognizing the challenges students face in postgraduate entrance exams (NEET), we have introduced:

  • Fill-Ups Based Exam Pattern:

Cytopathology Fellowship Program

  • Objective:

    • To broaden the expertise of oral pathology postgraduates in cytopathology, enhancing their diagnostic and reporting skills across a range of cytological samples.

    • First-of-its-kind interdisciplinary program in India for oral pathology postgraduates.

    • Module 1: General Cytology Techniques, Cervical Cytology

    • Module 3: Systemic Cytopathology (Breast, Lymph Node, and Respiratory Cytology)
